Transform your lighting and your power bills by installing LED Lighting in your home or business.
LED lights produce on average 35,000 hours of lighting, compared to a standard halogen lamp of approximately 2,000 hours or an incandescent lamp of 1,000 hours. The difference in the number of replacement bulbs is substantial and means that per light fitting you are using up to 35 less bulbs during the life time of your LED light – that’s 35 less that need to be manufactured and that are sent to the landfill.
To replace your average 50 watt halogen or 60 watt incandescent lamp, you would only need a 9 watt LED light. This equates up to 85% less energy required to produce the same amount of light. This reduction in energy use and your emissions is significant.
With reduced energy usage and reduced replacement bulb purchases, you can save your household or business operating expenses budget a substantial amount of money each year. Just replacing 1x Incandescent Lamp with an LED Downlight will save you approximately $35.00 per year.
LED lights emit far less heat than halogen or incandescent bulbs, significantly reducing any potential fire risk. Their reliability and incredibly long life reduces required changeouts, also adding to our safety.
The most common form of lighting in most homes is ceiling lighting. We can replace existing halogen or incandescent downlights from $50.00 per fitting. This upgrade should give you 10 years of use minimum before the LED fitting will need replacing.
Your payback on this investment is within a year in most instances, with the next 9 years putting savings in your pocket and your overall emissions.

How can a 9 watt LED lamp replacing 50 watt Halogen lamp be as bright a light?
Its not about the watts – they are how much energy that it is drawing on to generate the lighting output. The new LED lighting technology requires much less energy for its output.
Can I replace the LED down light myself?
Unfortunately you can not – it requires a registered electrician to carry out this work, however once done the savings should well cover any charges and produce ongoing savings for many years.
Are LED lights dimmable?
Yes they are now, older earlier releases were not but all the latest options definitely are.
