How does a surge protector work?
Once the surge protector is in place, it will redirect surges to the ground and dissipate the energy. The surge protection selected must be UL rated on response time.
Can I supply my own light fittings?
We are happy to install your specialised light fittings or other parts providing they are fit for purpose and meet the current New Zealand electrical standards.
What should I do if my lights go out?
Check to see if any circuit breakers are tripped or if any fuse or the light bulb has blown and replace if necessary.
Why do my downlights keep blowing lamps?
Generally it is because the light fittings are old and are probably needing to be replaced.
Do you fix hot water cylinders or do I need a plumber?
Often if you’ve got no hot water it can be that a fuse has tripped due to a fault on the cylinder. We can test the circuit to find the fault and, more often than not, make the required repairs. The only time a plumber is required is if there is no ability to drain water from the tank or if the tank or valves are leaking.
